$20 Million by 2020

Thanks to generous gifts from our supporters, and strong long-term investment returns, the MBEF Endowment hit its ambitious goal to raise $20 Million by 2020 by reaching over $21 Million in January 2021. At this level, the Endowment will disburse approximately $1M to our schools every year in perpetuity, regardless of fluctuations in the economy or shortfalls in Sacramento. We look forward to ensuring the growth of the Endowment for the years to come, as it provides an alternative mechanism through which our community schools can achieve long term sustainability.
